What do I need?

Internet connection - modem or broadband access:
This site displays large amounts of graphic data. A dial-up modem will provide adequate performance, but modem speeds of 28.8K (V.32) or faster are recommended. It is worth considering faster Internet access options if available.

Web browser:
This site is designed to run with Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is recommended that you use version 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 or higher.

Other browsers are not supported, but the site will function with Netscape Communicator 6.2.

Troubleshooting

Error message: Your browser has JavaScript turned off.
The map viewer page uses JavaScript to send map requests to the map server.
To change your settings open your browser Preferences or Options and enable JavaScript. In Internet Explorer you'll find this in the security settings. You do not have to restart your browser or your computer after you enable JavaScript. Simply click the Reload button.

Why does it take so long?
If you are using a modem it can seen to take a while for each new map to load. Each time you make a selection you request is sent back to the map server. Be patient, if you keep clicking you'll just send more requests back to the server and it will take even longer.
